With the latest edition of Supreme Women&Men Düsseldorf still in full swing at B1 on Bennigsen Platz, event organizers The Supreme Group have some preliminary facts and figures. “We have a clear increase in international visitors, particularly from Russia and Eastern Europe, but also from the Benelux region,” says Aline Müller-Schade, Member of the Executive Board of The Supreme Group. “This show has been significantly busier than our last years’ summer editions – we were surprised and happy to note such high visitor frequencies,” she adds. With the visitor numbers, the order volumes are also likely to increase.

To continue pushing the international reputation of Düsseldorf as prime fashion location, The Supreme Group will intensify their support for the city’s economic development and Fashion Net Düsseldorf. The objective of these activities is to increase Düsseldorf's appeal for exhibitors, buyers, customers, and multipliers even further.

On Sunday, July 22nd, The Supreme Group in cooperation with Annette Weber, influencer and new The Supreme Group sparringpartner partner, invited all interested parties to a press talk that proved a smashing success. The event kicked off with a panel discussion during which experts from retail and industry offered perspectives on digitalization to an audience of media representatives, exhibitors, and visitors. Due to the format’s clear success, The Supreme Group will include the press talk in their upcoming Supreme Women&Men Munich. The Munich press talk is scheduled for August 5th (10 am) at Supreme Homebase, right in front of the event venue MTC world of fashion, House 1 on Taunussstr. 45.

Stefan Hoege, Hoegieman & Friends, also noted a positive trend at Supreme Women&Men Düsseldorf: “There is a stronger emphasis on the emotional value of the collections. We want the expertise and stories that make the collections possible to be transported and communicated in the presentation. This includes the collection’s provenance – Made in Europe – as well as its distinguishing characteristics and a selective distribution. All this helps increase the emotional thrill at the POS. We are very happy about the positive feedback we’ve received from retailers. Supreme Women&Men is the perfect platform for our strategy.”

Supreme Women&Men Munich opens its gates on August 4th through 7th, 2018 at MTC world of fashion, House 1 in Munich (Taunusstr. 45). The next edition of Supreme Women&Men Düsseldorf is scheduled for January 26th through 29th, 2019.
