Supreme Kids confirms Munich’s position as fashion order capital

Munich, June 2018 – Over 450 kids’ fashion labels hailing from 15 countries will present their latest collections to retailers on July 13th through 15th 2018 at MTC world of fashion, House 1, in Munich.

A wide variety of styles, short distances, great selections, an opportunity to discover new suppliers: these are just a few of the many reasons why buyers love Supreme Kids, says Maria Wagner, Unit Director and head buyer of Modehaus Garhammer. Ms. Wagner adds: “You go to Berlin and Florence for first impressions. Supreme Kids then gives you the final and definitive overview. We’re not looking for specific items but like to get inspired by the sheer variety and then place our orders.”

Aline Müller-Schade, Member of the Executive Board der The Supreme Group, says: “Munich is the fashion place to be! It’s a highly attractive location. Supreme Kids has a huge portfolio and retailers value the wide variety. But the mere location is also an important success factor.”

To structure the trade show and give buyers an even more convenient overview, the organizers have clustered footwear almost exclusively on the second level of the venue. Supreme Kids project leader Sybille Mutschler says: “It's been our experience that visitors appreciate a structured setup that allows them to compare and make informed decisions. The layout of our show satisfies this need.”

The fourth consecutive Luna Business Talk will focus strongly on digital marketing. Fenke Gabriel-Schwan, Social Media Manager at Luna media will present a talk on Facebook is out, Instagram is in, explaining the latter platform's rise in significance and why it’s become essential for buyers and agencies (Friday, July 13th at 1 pm, MTC world of fashion, House 1, room 209).
