Supreme Kids: A colorful merry-go-round of collections draws visitors and strengthens order show's leading market position

The Supreme Group celebrated their 10-year anniversary with yet another fashion event featuring the key players in kids' fashion and promising newcomers: on July 14th through 16th, Supreme Kids presented the most exciting collections of the upcoming season at MTC World of Fashion in Munich. The color palette in SS 2018 complements classic pink and blue pastels with bright and bold neon hues. Prints and applications re-discover all-time kids’ favorites like lions, princesses, and all their friends – including flamingos, which are about to replace the popular unicorn motif. With its exciting portfolio, Supreme Kids strengthened its position as leading German trade show for the kids’ fashion segment, drawing large numbers from all German regions as well as buyers from Italy and Austria.

Supreme Kids project leader Sybille Mutschler, who took over this position in late April 2017, is highly satisfied with her debut show: “Taking charge of Germany’s largest kids' fashion order platform was a huge challenge – and one that I gladly took. The outcome makes me extremely happy and proud: Our high visitor numbers are proof that the buyers appreciate our well-balanced mix of collections, the great professional atmosphere, and our high quality standards.”

Another highlight of the event was the Luna Journal Business Talk, held for the second time as part of Supreme Kids. Dr. Sixt von Schulzendorff, Managing Director Luna Journal, moderated the discussion on “The potential of profitable cooperation between e-commerce platforms and fashion retailers and manufacturers”. The panel included Gabriel Zboralski (Managing Director, Sanetta Group), Martin Weczera (Managing Director, Nanga Shoes), and Florian Henneka (Managing Director, Korbmayer).

Another important trend for the future consists of collections that are exclusively available offline. The next edition of Supreme Kids is scheduled for January 26th through 28th at MTC World of Fashion, House 1 in Munich.*
