The fifth edition of Supreme Body&Beach closed its doors after three days of lingerie and swimwear trends on last Tuesday at MTC world of fashion, house 1. Roundabout 375 labels showed the sheer diversity that the lingerie, swimwear, and beachwear segments have to offer, on March 1st through 3rd.
The growing portfolio of international labels and the participation of all key players make Supreme Body&Beach Munich a unique industry event. Many international brands choose Munich as their entry point to the German market. This strategy has proven sound and earns them support from retailers.
Most exhibitors hailed from European countries, including Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, Greece, and Poland, but there were also labels from Australia, the United States, and other countries.
Most visitors came to the order show on Sunday, many of whom were independent retailers who viewed and ordered the latest collections. Monday also registered surprisingly strong visitor’s numbers with representatives of large department stores and major retailers dominating the scene. Overall, Supreme Body&Beach drew and audience from all over Germany – with a focus on Southern Germany – as well as Austria and Switzerland.
There was a very noticeable increase in visitors from South Tyrol. Exhibitors appreciated the high quality of visitors.
A highlight of this latest edition of Supreme Body&Beach was the “Shades of Grey Lingerie Show”. As part of the traditional and popular get-together, the organizers in cooperation with Yurdanur Steck, Madison Models, presented their more than 350 guests this fascinating lingerie show – a premiere for Body&Beach.
On the stage in the 2nd-floor Fashion Pavillon, the models presented lingerie by Chantelle, Passionata, Chantal Thomass, Couturelle by Felina, Mey Bodywear and Maison Lejaby as well as Venetian masks by Luna Venezia. The show was followed by the traditional get-together, which gave ample opportunity to network and be merry.
